Currently there are two days dedicated to handwriting: National Handwriting Day is celebrated on the same day every year, January 23rd. Adopted in 1976 by the United States Congress, National Handwriting Day is a celebration of all things handwritten. The day is also the birthday of John Hancock, known for his over large signature on the Declaration of Independence. Letter Writing Day, December 7th every year. It is not a National or State recognized day, but it does have its own independent following! |
